Process evaluation publication about SP-EU’s RCT now online
Understanding Social Prescribing in Practice: Read our newest publication by Husk et al. (2026) that addresses the following questions: How does social prescribing work across different European settings – and what makes it successful? The SP-EU process evaluation explores the implementation of Europe’s first large-scale trial of social prescribing, spanning 10 hubs in 8 countries. Using a mix of quantitative data and stakeholder interviews, the evaluation examines how the intervention is delivered, who it reaches, how it is experienced, and which local contexts shape its impact. These insights will help interpret the trial results, strengthen understanding of social prescribing for people in vulnerable situations, and inform future implementation and policy across Europe.
