About AAU

Health, medicine, and technology are the three main elements at the Faculty of Medicine at Aalborg University. Our educational programmes stem from solid world-class health research and a great understanding of people, technology, and healthcare.

At the Department of Health Science and Technology, we conduct research, teaching, and innovation within engineering, biomedicine, sports science, public health, neuroscience, psychology, and physiotherapy to develop sustainable technological solutions. Our mission is to contribute to increased quality of life for the benefit of the individual human being and society.

Aalborg University is the leader of work package 5 (coproduction) and a pioneer hub, particularly for adapting the social prescribing manual to the target group of refugees and first-generation immigrants. AAU is also a hub for the project’s randomised controlled trial (RCT) and is involved in the co-interpretation of SP-EU’s research findings.
