About EHNet
EuroHealthNet (EHNet) is a not-for-profit partnership of organisations, institutes, and authorities working to improve public health, prevent disease, promote health and wellbeing, and reduce inequalities by addressing the social determinants of health within and between European countries.
EuroHealthNet has connections with and engages policymakers across different levels of governance and has extensive experience in ensuring that research-based policy recommendations are effectively integrated into policy agendas. For over 20 years, EuroHealthNet has participated in and led European projects, developing policy tools, translating research into practice, and facilitating knowledge exchange across different contexts.
Within the SP-EU project, EuroHealthNet plays a key role in dissemination, communication, and exploitation. Responsible for developing and sharing the project’s policy implications and promoting SP-EU at the EU level, EuroHealthNet will collaborate with local partners to organise eight national policy roundtables. These roundtables will be tailored to national priorities and challenges, supporting Member States in advancing social prescribing.
