Expected outcomes and real-life impact
SP-EU aims to help build a more resilient, inclusive, and democratic European society by addressing inequalities and providing high-quality health and social care. It supports the EU’s 2021–2024 goal of ensuring “good health and high-quality, accessible healthcare.” Social Prescribing (SP) brings a stronger community focus to health care and supports overall wellbeing by addressing social factors that affect health. This helps reduce the need for medical treatment and makes health systems more sustainable. SP-EU will help ensure that people across Europe have access to innovative, sustainable and high-quality health care.

Overview of how SP-EU’s key exploitable results (KERs) contribute to the two key outcomes of the project and generate real-life impact in society.
