All 10 Hubs successfully initiated, including Zagreb
21 August 2026 – We celebrate an important milestone for SP-EU: With the successful initiation of our final RCT Hub in Zagreb, Croatia, all 10 hubs are now officially ready and the study is starting across Europe.
The hub initiation team, as represented here by Farhad Rezvani and Marius Dierks (from the coordinating institute Charité), has travelled across Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland, to get the RCT started all over Europe. A big thank you to everyone at the participating hubs for the warm welcome, enthusiasm, and commitment. Meeting colleagues across different countries and cultures has been a wonderful reminder of what makes European collaboration so special.
Congratulations to everyone everyone involved that we reached this important milestone. We now look forward to the next phase of the project and wish all participating hubs in the “RCT Work Stream” a successful study!
